Digital Climate Group (DCG) is a Hong Kong-based digital investment and impact-finance firm. It combines financial, technology, and investment services to deliver climate and impact financing across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. DCG’s mission is to enable transparent, scalable green finance.

It provides digital measure, report and verify (dMRV) tools, impact analytics, and compliance services to support environmental projects and asset-backed investments. In 2025, DCG secured a strategic investment and partnership with Daiwa Securities to expand its reach and impact in Asia and the Middle East.

Impact Measurement Challenges

Digital Climate Group needed verifiable evidence that climate projects achieved real results. ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reports were long and inconsistent, while IoT (Internet of Things) sensor data was fragmented. Investors demanded transparent, tamper-proof proof of impact, creating the need for an automated, auditable process.

Purpose and Goals

The project aimed to automate impact tracking using artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain. Espeo Software built a proof-of-concept system to classify ESG indicators, validate IoT data, and anchor results on a secure ledger, ensuring transparent and trustworthy investment reporting.
