Duties

  • Performing functional manual testing of new features & releases
  • Creating and running of automated tests
  • Reviewing project requirements to ensure requirements are testable
  • Analyzing test output, identifying discrepancies and clearly documenting defects
  • Ensuring that a good quality level of testing is maintained across multiple projects
  • Expanding your knowledge in terms of performance & security testing
  • Working closely with developers as a member of a scrum team; taking an active part in building and supporting the team (making suggestions, cooperating with other team members closely)

Must-have

  • Have a vast knowledge of software testing, different testing tools and techniques supporting manual and automated testing
  • Have knowledge about the HTTP protocol & web app development cycle
  • Have at least a year of commercial experience in manual testing
  • Analyzing test output, identifying discrepancies and clearly documenting defects
  • Be willing to cooperate with others and share both experience & knowledge within the team
  • Have excellent communication skills and previous experience working with miscellaneous clients
  • Be strongly interested in the IT area: software testing, software development, agile environment, test automation
  • Be proficient in both written and spoken English - required

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of HTML & CSS and SQL
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, Docker
  • Linux terminal skills
  • Basic knowledge of performance & security testing
